چکیده
Background: Cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) incidence in Northeastern Thailand is very high and a major cause of mortality. CCA patients typically have poor prognosis short-term survival rate due to late-stage diagnosis. the first Southeast Asian country approve medicinal cannabis treatment, especially for palliative care with advanced cancer patients. Methods: A retrospective cohort comparative study rates among 491 newly diagnosed was carried out between September 1, 2019, June 30, 2021. A total 404 were standard pain management treatment group (ST), 87 (CT). Patients recruited from four tertiary hospitals two secondary five provinces Northeast Thailand. The cumulative calculated by Kaplan-Meier method, independent prognostic factors investigated using Cox regression. Results: For ST patients, there follow-up time 790 person-months, mortality 48.35/100 person-months. CT 476 10.9/ 100 median after registration at clinic 0.83 months (95% CI: 0.71–0.95) 5.66 1.94–9.38) CT. Multivariate analysis showed that protocol associated significantly better (P value <0.001; CT, 1.94–9.38); ST, 0.71–0.95). Therefore, had reduced probability dying disease (HRadj., 0.28 0.20–0.37) Conclusions: medical increased overall patients.
